Welcome.
My own journey with plants has been an adventure, gaining experience and qualifications along the way - as well as having fun. Designing with plants is the most enjoyable undertaking, and done sensitively, the most rewarding.
I have knowledge of designing and managing private and public spaces, and was most recently a Gardener for the National Trust at Sheringham Park, Norfolk. I have an NVQ3 in Horticulture and a Masters in Landscape Architecture, have been employed as a Landscape Architect, CAD Technician, Landscape Gardener and Horticulturist and have been on the self employed journey since 2020.
I have the privilege of starting the RHS MHort in October 2024 and look forward to learning at the most prestigious gardening organisation in the world and meeting new peers.
I can offer the following:
- Regular garden maintenance service in the Norfolk and north Suffolk area.
- Perennial and shrub border redesign, in keeping with your preferences or introducing new ideas.
- Design scoping exercise / feasibility study - checking the design options available to you and your garden (text document).
- Garden design, including:
- Detailed site survey to produce scaled plans.
- Computer aided 3D model with fly-throughs (Sketchup).
- Planting plans, based on soil samples and pH test.
- Sections and elevations.
- Detailed design drawings.
If you have a project in mind or would like to talk about options, send me a message via the contact form.
I look forward to hearing about your project!
